Five-Day Full Immersion Visit
An Experiential Odyssey into the Richness of Damanhur
This comprehensive visit offers an immersive and transformational experience into the magic and wonder that is Damanhur. Each of the five days provides possibilities to dive into Damanhur's broad and varied sea of knowledge about both past and future—including its unique "nucleo" communities, central territories, spiritual philosophy, scientific discoveries and leading-edge research projects. This visit emphasizes learning in both an educational and experiential way.
Your visit begins with guided walk to familiarize you with Damanhur's central territory of Damjl and Damanhur Crea. Depending on weather conditions, you will have an opportunity to walk the stone labyrinths—a powerful way to widen your perception and discover new connections to yourself and nature—or spend time in the Niatel Selfic Art Gallery, where you can meditate upon the mystical Selfic paintings by Falco Tarassaco and specific Damanhurians to whom he taught this unique art technique.
During this five-day stay, you will have several opportunities to enter the extraordinary Temples of Humankind. Gloriously detailed yet more than a work of artistic achievement, the Temples serve as a direct pathway for reawakening the divine spark in each person. You will be guided through each of the 8 halls and learn why this magnificent structure is a living conduit that connects the energies of the planet that travel via the Synchronic Lines. You will experience listening to the specific instrument of each hall as a way to more deeply connect with the energy there.
Your immersion into Damanhur would not be complete without a trek into the Sacred Woods Temple, where you will learn about its history, as well as the creation and functions of its brightly colored, serpentine stone labyrinths. The itinerary includes a stop at the Temple's newest project, called the Temple of the Peoples (also nicknamed Le Buche), and an introduction to Music of the Plants, Damanhur's own research into plant intelligence and communication. You will be amazed and delighted to hear the music of trees and plants through an instrument that captures electromagnetic variations between the leaves and their root systems, and turns them into sound patterns and melodies.
This visit provides plenty of stimulation to engage all of the senses, as well as the heart and intellect. During "Introduction to Spiritual Physics: Where Science and Spirit Meet and Deepen", you will learn that spiritual physics begins where quantum physics ends—opening up to new ways of understanding the world and the universe from both a scientific and spiritual perspective. Another special treat is the opportunity to experience Serata, a Q&A session in which Damanhur citizens answer questions from guests about the community, its philosophy and its future.
Then you will venture out into the greater Damanhur territories with your Damanhurian guide to see first-hand how Damanhurians live in citizen communities called "nucleos." You will visit several nucleos and learn how each household works on specific projects, such as agriculture-advanced sustainability. And finally, you will have yet another chance to venture inward during an interactive course centered around artistic expression. In "Meditative Reflections in Clay: Sculpting as an Act of Self-Discovery and Personal Expression", you will create a small sculpture of yourself as part of a physical process of self-reflection.
