Sacred Woods Temple Half-Day Visit

A First Glance at Damanhur's Outdoor Temple and History of Plant Research

Explore the plant world and connect with nature like never before in the mystical Sacred Woods Temple, located in the hills above the Temples of Humankind. This outdoor 124-acre (50- hectare) temple is a continuation and amplification of the energy of the underground Temples of Humankind. Every tree in this woods is an antenna that constantly transmits and receives intelligent energies through the Synchronic Lines—or, rivers of energy that flow continuously around the planet.

The visit begins with an in-depth background into the history and development of the Sacred Woods Temple and its brightly colored serpentine stone labyrinths. You will learn the history of the labyrinths, what they are used for and how they work. The itinerary includes a stop at the Temple's newest project, called the Temple of the Peoples (also nicknamed Le Buche), and an introduction to Music of the Plants, Damanhur's own research into plant intelligence and communication. You will be amazed and delighted to hear trees and plants "sing" in the Sacred Woods through an electromagnetic instrument that captures, deciphers and records the plant's own "music."
